He has been a hit with the girls in the Indian subcontinent in a big way since he was launched in Star One's teenage rom-soap Remix. He was then just a cute looking bachcha, nut he matured and won many more hearts when he came back after more than two years and became a household name with the serials he acted in, one after the other, namely: Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Dill Mill Gayye, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai.
I wish he has a winning streak in the days ahead too.
Karan has spoiled us rotten, making us hungry for the looks.
Karan Wahi, being blessed with the perfect chocolate-boy looks, has clicked as a eye-candy quite easily. But I do not see him making it big on the big screen, if he ever gets a romantic lead. Though he has pumped up his muscles lately, his beefy looks are best appreciated in pin-up avatars, preferably shirtless.... hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAmong the males who made their mark on television, Mishal Raheja, Hiten Tejwani, Manav Gohil, and Karan Tacker cut more ice than Karan Wahi. But, I agree, he became a heartthrob of sorts almost overnight when Remix first aired on Star One. His chocolatey or bubblegummer looks won't take him far..... reminds me of another vintage telly hottie Vishal Singh.
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of Karan Wahi. Neither I am a fan of the other two Karan-s, namely Karan Singh Grover and Karan Kundra. The only Karan from the small screen who had some acting talent was Karan Roy (the younger brother of Ronit Roy) - he now goes by the name of Rohit Roy; he had his big television break some years ago, in 'Swabhimaan', the series penned by Shobha De.
